When you pee....pull down waistband or pull aside pouch?

I can imagine most people pull their waistband down when wearing regular underwear, but what do jockstrappers generally do? It's probably easier for most guys to pull their dicks out from the side of the pouch when dealing with a wide waistband.

Depends. If I am already oulling down elastic waist of shorts or sweatoants, usually pull down jock front as well. Sometimes pissing outside and going more handsfree I can tug the shorts or sweats down and pull the jock aside, otherways the waistband impedes urine flow inside the cock without a hand to press it down. if wearing zip and button shorts, I think I go to the side usually but not always. catching your fingers in your pubes can be annoying when pulling for the side of the jock pouch or outting it back in place. If short enough shorts and pulling the leg up over my cock instead then I go to the side of the pouch.
