I bought a new camera a few months ago and finally got a chance to use it in a shoot. Still getting used to it as it's way more advanced than my old one. I'm also shooting in Camera Raw so the camera isn't pre-processing or color correcting the photos allowing me to have more control over the final product.

The photos are much larger (at least the original photos before I resize them) giving more details. The focal area is now huge so I don't have to fuss with where I'm focusing.

I'm still working on the new color correction process as I'm finding the photos still a little too cold and need to warm them up a bit - but shooting our model Chance probably didn't help as he's pale as a ghost - and where he does have a bit of a farmer's tan, it's not really a tan but a whole lot of freckles! But it's still better than the old camera as his farmer's tan ended up looking reddish when shooting with my old camera (which I would have to select out and remove).

Anyway, here's some of the new photos:

“I'm also shooting in Camera Raw” had my filthy mind going a completely different direction for a moment there. Fortunately, after all the text, sexy Chase, courtesy of your phenomenal camera work, got my mind right back to those filthy thoughts. 😈😉

It's a great idea and would love to... if we were just shooting for fun. However, we're shooting catalog photography and the end goal is to have photos that show off the products in detail for our website. The added expense of paying an extra model is simply not feasible from a business perspective. Profit margins on underwear isn't huge.

Then there's the time factor: We normally do a four to five hour shoot and that's barely enough time to get everything shot as it is, but throw another model into the mix and that time would double. We've been at this for 18 years and after four hours of shooting, we're all getting tired and cranky.

Perhaps down the road we could do some lifestyle shots for our own brands - that would make a bit more sense for us.

With that said, we did manage to shoot two guys a year or two after we started the business. Simply because we were shooting Peter Rex (a friend) and his husband Steve dropped in to the shoot and we all coerced him to jump in front of the camera along with Peter. We only did a dozen or so photos but they were fun.

* I actually have to go find these photos and re-edit them. I had a major hard drive crash a few years ago and lost a ton of my older edited photos. I intend to add them to the new model gallery I've built for the new Jockstrap Central website I've been working on for over a year now.

I absolutely love your Pro Swimmer jocks! I especially like the snug athletic fit of the small size for myself. Just bought another one in orange from you today, along with another JC Athletic swimmer jock (size small), plus one more new CB-13 swimmer jock size small due to the sale price. Plus another Alpha Charlie tactical mesh jock, this time I decided to try the size small rather than my usual size medium for that jock. Additionally purchased my first jock in the PUMP! brand (the cruise jockstrap in small size.) I hope it fits well, as I like to have athletic snug fit, and the size small with most of your jocks usually fits me the best in the waist and leg straps, while at the same time accents the bulge under the pouch. (I like a pouch with some stretch to it.)

I get an exciting sort of thrill every time I wear a new jock for the first time, lol. 😃(y)🍆🎯
