1) specific to absorbing antiperspirant aluminum, the crystal is more deodorant, blocking the pores and gland expression long term can't be good, i haven't looked at research on that specifically. I would think it would necessarily diminishes one's pheromone broadcast in any case.
2)Aluminum generally is very strongly associated with alzheimers and dementia increases, cancers, other dysfunctions. I get horrible gut pain if I eat food cooked in aluminum foil anymore, actually went to the ER for xrays after a thanksgiving turkey cooked in aluminum baking tray, to check if it was a kinked bowel (deadly).
It leeches more if there's acidity and heat but it transfers from simple contact. I had to complain to a friend about their very beautiful from-scratch blackberry pie being very visibly dotted with aluminum that had noticeably dripped onto the pie surface where the juice had sputtered onto and steamed the foil after it came out of the oven which is hardly forge melting temp.
It is sadly common in restaurant kitchens and home kitchens everywhere. It's also in most baking powders and a lot of processed baked foods, with is criminally negligent for the FDA and the companies as it's VERY EASILY REPLACED but it's cheap so
. If you don't find aluminum free baking powder at the store and can't work amazon you can make a 1 to 1 replacement with 1 part baking soda and 2 parts cream of tartar, with the downside that this particular homemade recipe reacts with liquids and not just in the oven.
Steel, cast iron, enamel, and glass cookware should all be fine but I studiously avoid aluminum and teflon at home. Teflon causes its own bevy of probems, kidney damage comes to mind. Teflon should especially be thrown into recycling with violent prejudice if it's scratched at all.
