Hey jockstrap friends,

For the last few weeks at the gym, when I enter the locker room in the morning, I see the same guy. Handsome, super fit, nice smile, yummy looking package, and an ass I’d love to destroy. We’ve made eye contact quite a few times and had a very brief exchange about our love of jockstraps. He primarily wears white Bike jocks and I don my Pro jocks, which he had never heard of. We had one moment where we showered across from each other. I didn’t know he was there because I close my shower curtain. He does not and was fully stroking when I left (I didn’t register what was happening until much later and when I threw my towel back on to go back to the shower, he had left.)

Aside from that brief convo and moment in the showers, we don’t really say or do much except catch each other’s eyes.

I tend to be VERY reserved in the locker room because of a terrifying experience I had my first year of college. So initiating any phone # exchange or even joining any kind of shower action makes me uncomfortable. But I sense he’s interested. What do I do?

Another fun fact: he does not put a lock on his locker. So it would not be hard for me to drop a jock or a note or both in there for him to find at a later moment. But that might be a little creepy.

In college, I would swim during the late night open pool hours at the rec center (10pm). The showers were open style with about 12 shower heads (big area). Frequently, there was always another guy showering and swimming at the same time and we hardly interacted aside from a headnod or a hello. One night, I finished swimming after him and upon entering the showers, found him jerking off. Allowing him space, I chose a shower head further from him. After washing my hair, I turned around and found him standing next to me, fully erect and staring me in the eyes. He asked if I wanted to blow him. I said no. He asked if I wanted to jerk off with him. As you can imagine, I started to get hard. He noticed that, grabbed my dick and pushed me against the wall. Then, I don't really recall what happened next but suddenly there were like 5 guys (clothed) in the showers with us saying things like "faggot" and "pussy" and "bitch". The original guy's hand was around my throat and I was struggling to get free which was difficult because of the soapy floor. Luckily, the lifeguard did his rounds, checking the changing areas and locker rooms, and caught the whole thing. The guys scattered and I was left on the floor of the shower. I am fortunate that nothing worse occurred but it affected how I feel in the locker room (and specifically with this situation because it has some similarities).

It sounds like you’re circling each other, but I definitely understand the hesitation, especially at a gym you frequent. That said, maybe drop a Pro in his locker. If he says anything, just say you thought he’d like to try one out.

...that sounds like a very-clever idea to just leave a PRO jockstrap in-his-locker!...and just wait for his reaction!...that`s not-only very considerate and generous...but, it may be just-what-is-needed to break-the-ice and get things going!.....try-it!...see what happens!...it just may start a good-long-friendship!...certainly worth-trying!.....you could also leave-a-note with the PRO jockstrap...stating that you thought he might like to try-it...sign just your first name...then, he will even know YOUR-NAME...then, it`s up to him to respond accordingly!...and, he will know that you at least made the effort to befriend him!...please let us know how that goes...........JAKE

So sorry this happened to you. Lifeguard should've reported the incident at least. I hope you sought counseling and have recovered.

I appreciate that. The lifeguard did report it and they caught the guy in the pool/shower (cuz he had scanned in that night... bonehead). He identified the other guys. It was handled well, I do admit.

Sorry to hear this too. Sounds like you were definitely set up. I’m glad that it was handled correctly but damn he turned on his friends fast! I’d think we know who the pussy of that posse is. Jumping back on the gym horse must have been difficult but definitely a move in the right direction. mate!

Definitely set up. There's a lot more to why he turned in his friends but yeah he was definitely a POS. Plus I have to wonder why he became the "bait" so to speak. Pretty sure he had/has some demons... took a little bit to get back into the gym but I did eventually. I know it was a unique situation and highly unlikely to occur again. I am very glad I did because the gym is a sacred space for me. Anyway, don't mean to drag the thread down. Let's get back to getting naked with other guys and swappin jocks.

You didn’t bring it down. We all have our realities to deal with. It’s a wake up call to be vigilant. Really glad to hear about the gym. You haven’t lost your sacred space! I can only imagine what would happen to those guys if Billy and Timothy were lifeguarding!

More than a few bigoted/homophobic corpsmen during my decades of service had to be treated by the medics and dentists after I DEALT with their attacks on gay (or suspected) corpsmen. And most did time in the brig after the details came out of what they’d done to cause their injuries. Yeah, wish I’d been there to DEAL with them when that happened to you, Monty.
