despite the fact that I’m a professional snowboard instructor during the winter and I LOVE snowboarding, and I’m getting a snowstorm right now, I was born in June. Warm days filled by lake time on a wakeboard behind our close family friends V-hull sea ray, or on the sea doo she owns that I can use whenever I want since I handle all water craft related trailering needs, cuz I’m pretty damn skilled at towing trailers and equipment, or out on trail horse back riding on retired performance reigning horses with my best friends family. Or wrenching on my truck. But what I’m missing most about summer days is my summer time car detailing business. If it were a warm summer day I’d be in a t shirt logoed with my business name, O’Neill hybrid shorts that are a very comfy combo of board shirt material, but well fitted because of belt loops, pockets, and a button and zip fly, and a comfy jockstrap, with vans skate shoes. probably sitting in front of a clients car hammering out a full paint correction and ceramic coating detail. I love everything about those detail jobs because I’m comfortable in warm weather and making good money while also simultaneously making the clients vehicle look show room new is always an enjoyable way for me to spend the day. Because then I can afford to go do all the fun stuff I wanna do. But I’m not gonna lie, I was born and raised to be modest and that definitely translates to how I present my self with my physical appearance. You’d never know I had a jock on under my shorts and T while detailing. Even when I’m home and detailing my own truck, during wash step, even if it’s really hot I’m still in board shorts and a tank top because when I was growing up, I’d do it shirtless in our driveway and get made of fun of for being over weight. As an adult doing my truck in the driveway even though I wasn’t over weight I was still completely self conscious plus there were young kids around in the main house where I lived up above them in the apartment and we all shared the driveway. So I didn’t feel it appropriate to be shirtless when working on my rigs lol. Now that I’ve had my own full house to rent on my own and have a big garage, when I wash my truck in the driveway i still dont so it shirtless even though there aren’t a lot of young kids around and I wouldn’t be made fun of for my physical appearance. I just stay modest. Even out on boat or at the beach, I keep a tank top on unless I’m actually in the water. I’m so lame for that….. lol

EDIT: it’s nowhere near below zero where I am. I may have winter and snow and snowboarding but it’s still Southern California after all it’s not a brutal winter like some places haha.
