Your choice! Doctors appreciate easy and immediate access to the entire body under examination. Though not likely to verbalize that appreciation, it’s best to be prepared to respond to requests to remove underwear, jockstrap, or any other garment obstructing the appropriate examination area. Many years ago, upon involuntarily raising an erection in the doctor’s plain view, he stated quite clearly that I had shown him that I was capable of “healthy erections,” and already answered any questions he might have asked about that aspect of my health. After half apologizing, half embarrassed over my boner, the doc then suggested I would likely be quite proud and happy with such [erection] response during an examination 20-30 years later, saying that lots of older men would be quite happy to show [an erection] like that. Thereafter, I never thought twice about what I’m wearing/not wearing, precum, or any other natural response at a doctor office.
