White waistband was pretty common in gym class above red shorts, but a gold one would draw a lot of unwanted attention and a jock wedgie with a thong back would be rough.

Still have a gold safetgard thong jock. Nice thing about it is that there is a limit how far the waistband will ride up your back if wearing your speedo or shorts with the thong back.

@jockbear has a nice even set and it works for him. Mine are 2 different sizes and the "sock" never stayed on very well, especially with some stimulation.

In the upper right is the "sock" or a strapless jock. Yea your's qualifies. I had one and I know guys have mentioned them here before.

I think Target quit carrying them. They were made by 2(x)ist and those are still out there.
